Who We Are
The Learning From Day One Campaign is sustainable statewide public awareness campaign that promotes the investment of time and resources by all Nebraskans toward improving life outcomes for young children, especially during the most critical early years of growth and development.
A broad variety of tools offer communities, agencies, businesses, medical professionals, nonprofits, and other organizations the opportunity to participate in a manner that benefits their capacities and goals.
The campaign is a early learning awareness and education coordinated by Nebraska Children and Families Foundation in partnership with the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services, Nebraska Department of Education, community-based agencies and private entities.
A key component of the nationwide Born Learning campaign, Nebraska's Learning From Day One campaign was developed by United Way of America, Civitas, The Families and Work Institute and the Ad Council.
